Western Photo Booth Experience

Western Photo Booth Experience

Our clients kept asking us for a Western-themed photo booth experience. What better way to celebrate Utah’s history than to transport your guests back to the late 1800’s! In typical Couth Booth fashion, we grabbed the bull by the horns and put together the rootinest-tootinest cowboy prop collection this side of the Mississippi! We tried to recreate those old-timey amusement park photos (think of your family trips to Pioneer Village), but in a way that didn’t require bringing an entire Western saloon with us. We can even created Wanted Posters for your guests, or bring a green screen that allows for all kinds of Western backdrops. We searched long and hard, and put together some amazing props and costume items. The Western prop collection includes cowboy hats, spurs, a lasso, a replica rile, several replica pistols, gun belts with holsters, vests, a parasol, a whiskey jug, and much more. We even made our own signs that have cheesy cowboy sayings on them. We made them from wood, wrapped them in rope, and burned the heck out of them. Usually we get requests for Western photo booths in Park City, considering its history as a mining town. But all of Utah has a rich history full of pioneer and cowboy culture. Pairing our Western props with our Vintage Booth creates an unforgettable experience for your next corporate event, party, or Western wedding. Contact us to get pricing for your event, and don’t forget to ask about the Western Experience upgrade....

Steampunk Photo Booth Event

Steampunk Photo Booth Event

When we were hired by Weber State University to be part of their 125th anniversary celebration, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Considering the fact that they booked all three of our booths, we figured that it would be a grand affair but it wasn’t until we saw the venue that we realized how grand it really was! The event was held at the Eccles Event Center in downtown Ogden and the theme was Steampunk (which is a genre of science fiction which blends Victorian era fashion with industrial era technology). The entire ballroom was decorated with huge displays of gears, gadgets, and gizmos, and suspended from the ceiling were zeppelins and other fantastical steam driven fictional creations. No detail was overlooked, even the meals were inspired by the steampunk theme. In addition to bringing our three photo booths, we were also given the task of creating Steampunk costumes for both men and women that could be easily slipped on over clothing, with minimal fuss. Our motto is “Anything worth doing, is worth OVERdoing” so of course, we went all out on these costumes. We raided antique stores, vintage clothing stores, several Deseret Industry locations, and the entire internet to find all of the parts and pieces necessary to create six incredible Steampunk costumes. Every element of the costumes were stitched together so that they became just one single garment that guests could slip into from the back (like a strait jacket). Although the costumes were a hit, we were amazed at how many guests came in their own amazing costumes. By the end of the night, we had taken hundreds of photos with our photo booths and nearly every one of the 750 guests was able to take a souvenir home with them. Thank you Weber State for allowing us to be part of your imaginative and historic...

Making the most out of your photo booth rental

Posted by on Mar 8, 2011 in Corporate Parties, Weddings | 0 comments

It’s your photo booth rental, make the most out of it! Since you’re reading our blog, chances are good that you’re considering a photo booth rental at your wedding or other special event. Here are a few suggestions to help you maximize your photo booth rental, and to make sure that your guests get the best experience possible: Fit the booth into your themes and colors Just because it’s our booth doesn’t meant that it can’t match the style of your wedding or event. You’re welcome to provide us with fabric or corporate logos to use as a backdrop in our booth, or even for the curtains or exterior. We can also design your photostrips with just about anything you like, so feel free to share your ideas and designs with us so we can match them. We love Pinterest, so feel free to share your boards with us so we can see your grand vision. Give your guests privacy Although it’s very elegant to use an “open style” photo booth, we find that your guests’ personalities really shine when they have some privacy during their photo booth experience. People tend to “let loose” more when they are photographed privately. Although we’d be happy to set up a photo-shoot style photo booth rental, we think you’ll be happier with the results you get from a privacy booth. Have the photo booth be the first stop As your guests arrive, have them immediately queue up into the photo booth line. This way, they won’t be tempted to skip it if they’ve stayed too long eating, drinking, or socializing. You want to get every guest into your booth, so consider having signs and stanchions to guide your guests to the booth as soon as they walk in the door. Maximize your photo booth rental dollars Although we don’t charge for setting up or tearing down our booths, you’ll want to maximize your photo booth rental time to it’s full limit. To do so, you don’t want any downtown once the booth is setup. Be sure to pick a location for the booth where we can set up immediately prior to your event. For example, if you’re having your wedding ceremony right before your reception but you only want us there for the reception, make sure the booth is situated somewhere where we can set up during the ceremony or during pictures. We want your photo booth rental experience to be perfect. Reserve your booth by filling out our photo booth Reservation Form. Photo Booth Reservation Form  ...
