Vintage Carnival Weddings

Posted by on May 24, 2012 in Couth Booth, Outdoor wedding, Vintage Carnival | 0 comments

Weddings are supposed to be celebrations, and what’s more fun that going to the carnival? Instead of the traditional culinary staples of finger sandwiches, punch, and cake, cutting edge brides are now choosing cotton candy, freshly popped popcorn, and snow cones. The idea of the traveling carnival dates back to the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. It included games of chance, rides, freak shows, burlesque, and of course, delicious treats. After the world’s fair, traveling carnival companies began touring the US, sharing the fun and thrills with communities big and small. The appeal of the carnival is alive and well today, as witnessed by the recent trend in carnival weddings. Let us be the ring master at your carnival. We have adorable vintage cotton candy, pop corn, and snow cone machines that have that cute retro look. We can even bring our antique lemonade stand, complete with fresh lemonade. And, of course, our “Couth Booth” photo booth is the perfect addition to round off the vintage carnival theme. With fresh carnival treats and a beautiful photo booth, your wedding will be the talk of the town. Our vintage carnival carts can be rented individually or packaged with any photo booth rental. Photo Booth Tickets & Signs

Vintage Photo Booth Ideas We’re always on the lookout for design concepts that would appeal to the modern day Utah bride and groom. Want to add some vintage photo booth verve to your Utah photo booth experience? Give out tickets to your guests as they arrive at your Utah wedding or event. Here’s a cute vintage design that we’d be happy to share with you for your wedding. Printing these signs and tickets would be a snap and they’d add some vintage class to your big day:   Vintage Photo Booth Sign We love this look! These photo booth signs were popular on the old vintage photo booths from the 40’s. We’re considering adding this vintage look as an option for our booths so that we can showcase the bride and groom’s name as part of the vintage photo booth look. We could print a sign like this for your wedding or event for just $50 extra and prominently display it on the front of our booths.   Vintage Photo Booth This is a vintage photo booth called the “Auto Booth Model 9” from the 1950’s. Vintage booths like these were originally used by the military to print photos for soldiers’ identification, but it didn’t take long for the photo booth to gain popularity in mainstream culture. Wouldn’t it be cool to reproduce something like this? I love the woodgrain and the faded blue colors that are so indicative of the 50’s. It just ooozes vintage photo booth coolness. Beautiful Outdoor Wedding Photobooth Ideas

Wedding Photobooth, Outdoor or In Love must be in the air, because there are a lot of people getting married this summer, and many of them want an outdoor wedding photobooth. The only problem is that the summer months are our busiest, so we’ve had to turn away some brides and grooms who waited too long to book their booth. Our photo booths work great outdoors or in. If you’re wedding is outdoors, we’d be happy to set up a backdrop in the “open air” setting. We have a freestanding pipe-and-drape setup that can suspend a fabric backdrop behind your guests as they are photographed. Suspending globes or putting props on sticks in the ground can add ambiance and depth to your photos. It’s your wedding photobooth and we want it to be exactly as you envisioned. If you’d prefer a more intimate setting for your guests’ photos, there’s nothing wrong with sticking with the standard enclosed photobooth. 4 Tips for Your Photo Booth Rental

Posted by on Jan 9, 2011 in Outdoor wedding | 0 comments

Photobooth Rental Tips If you’ve never rented a photobooth before, you might be overwhelmed by the options, technology, and the pricing. I’ve compiled a few tips to make the photobooth rental process a little easier. Tip #1: What kind of booth do you want? Before you go out and hire the first company that appears in Google, or the company with the best prices, you should be sure to ask some key questions. Find out what kind of booth(s) they have. If they use a “pipe and drape” setup but you were envisioning a vintage looking photo booth, you might be disappointed. Don’t trust that all photobooths are the same, make sure that the photobooth rental company has what you’re looking for. Tip #2: Use your photobooth rental time wisely to maximize your budget Be sure to plan your photobooth rental time carefully so that you don’t end up paying more than you should. The last thing you want is for the photo booth rental company to be set up and ready, but sitting around idle because you aren’t ready for them. If you’re having a booth at your wedding reception, try to plan ahead so that they are set up precisely at the time that your guests are arriving. Tip #3: Match your style to the photobooth rental experience Any photobooth rental company worth hiring will work to customize your experience. Ask them to design a custom background for your photostrips that matches the theme of your event, your wedding colors, or your corporate logo. If you want a more sophisticated photobooth rental experience, you way want to forgo having goofy props (wigs, over sized sunglasses, etc). Tip #4: Have fun! Your photo booth rental experience should be fun for you and your guests. Be flexible and don’t sweat it if it goes in a different direction than you predicted. Sometimes your guests will get caught up in the spontaneity of the moment, but this often times leads to the best photos. If you have questions about our photobooth rental services, we’d be happy to answer them. See our Contact page and drop us a line...
